My surgery has been scheduled for Friday, April 15th.
Hopefully I would be all jolly again in time for my birthday.
Angel Face has to get her last set of immunization shots.
We have to apply for early entrance to Kindergarten for her.
I've renewed the library books, so now they're due at the end of the month.
The car needs an oil change. Probably the van too.
And we need to get to the tulip farm while all the flowers are still in bloom.

There is a Tyagaraja festival in Tri-Cities on April 30th. Your family are most welcome. You can add this to calebdar if your time permits :)

Like Chava I was unable to read books after about the second week in hospital; for some reason I could no longer concentrate. Mine was a pelvic fracture.
Your tulip farm comment reminds me of the tulip farms in the Netherlands, which seem to be prettiest when flying overhead. The fields are an otherworldly patchwork of incredibly bright colors shimmering in the summer sunshine.

I keep doing this: setting myself some tasks (like adding photo albums) and then flaking on them - and hiding from myself. Surely this is meant to be fun!
:-)
I know what both Chrys and Kiran mean: previous bouts in hospital after surgery have taught me the frustrations inherent in the process :( What is different here is the freedom they allow visitors - at least spouses or one immediate family member.
Ratna, my husband is very excited about the festival. Provided I'm up to the travel you might just see us there :-)
Mary, thanks. She is extremely huggable (if at times infuriating)!
