I've just been granted fifty (50) invitations to GMail!
If anyone out there still would like one, or who has an auntie whose next-door neighbour but one's son-in-law would like one, please let me know.
Leave a working email address when commenting - I don't display email addresses as links even if you don't leave a website address, so the spam-bogey won't get you as a result of this :-)

My company is onto me! They discovered somehow that gmail is (shudder) a web-based e-mail system! We don't want any of that! -- even though I was using it to e-mail attachments to customers, something I can no longer do with my normal work e-mail. (It seems that e-mailing anything but plain ASCII data to one's customers is as dangerous as drinking from stagnant pondwater.) So now I'm locked out. Oh, by the way, let me know if you're running short of plain, ASCII data. I've got plenty.
