A beautiful morning with sunshine and only a few patches of fog. The light glistened off the frosted edges of the vegetation, so after dropping my bags inside the lab and retrieving my camera and pass, zipping up my jacket and snugging on my gloves, I ventured back out into the "brisk" morning.
So instead of my usual deluge of words, here is a deluge of images.
Now I feel quite heady.

We've got some of that frosty stuff here too...especially on my windshield. HPIM4034.JPG is my favorite!

Thanks :-)
I took them with my HP 945 - practice with the Macro feature eventually starts paying off. I kept wondering whether I should get the tripod from the car, but the combination of the cold and laziness helped me to decide that there was more than enough sunlight that my shakiness would not be too noticeable as blurriness ;-)

Thanks, Jag. Yes, I took one from the same angle but focused on the moss, then this one focusing on the annual rings in the stump - I much prefer the texture of this one.
